JED HOLLAND
From early on he was inspired by the music he heard around the house, which was most commonly the Folk-influenced sounds of artists such as Bob Dylan, Nick Cave and Joni Mitchell.
As Jed was developing his early songwriting skills, he joined his older brother Noah in an indie-folk band which proved to be a formidable musical apprenticeship for him: the band signed a record deal when he was 16 and released an album soon after. The band enjoyed playing and touring together for a good six years before reaching a natural end to their musical journey. Jed went on to work as a session player for a whole range of exciting artists including Cavetown, Sam Wills, James Smith, Nix Northwest, ENNY, Lausse the Cat, Eloise, and many more.
